About Aecom Bursary
AECOM, the global infrastructure and engineering firm, offers a bursary through its Enterprise Capabilities team for South African citizens studying full-time towards a Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (including Rail Engineering) or Quantity Surveying qualification. The bursary covers tuition, books and accommodation up to R100,000 a year, plus a once-off laptop allowance of up to R8,000, and requires successful bursars to work for AECOM after graduation for the same number of years the company funded their studies. Preference is given to applicants with a 75% average in Mathematics and Science.

You must be a South African citizen who is highly motivated and passionate about a career in the built environment. No prior work experience is required. You should have successfully passed Grade 12 (Matric) with a preferred average of 75% in Mathematics and Science, or currently be maintaining above 65% at tertiary level, and be registered (or intending to register) full-time at a recognised South African tertiary institution studying Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
