About Ernst Ethel Eriksen Trust Bursary Grant
The Ernst & Ethel Eriksen Trust Bursary Grant funds postgraduate study - at Masters or Doctoral level, in any field - for South African students at a recognised South African university. It is a partial bursary of up to R25,000 per year, paid directly to the student's university, so recipients need to be able to cover the remainder of their fees from other sources.
The Trust was established in 1981 following a donation from Ethel Eriksen specifically to fund postgraduate study grants. Because the award is granted one academic year at a time, recipients must reapply annually if they want the grant to continue into a further year of postgraduate study.

A partial bursary of up to R25,000 per annum, paid directly to the recipient's university. The grant covers one academic year at a time and does not automatically renew - recipients must reapply each year they wish to continue receiving it.
