- Studying, or planning to study full-time, in Electrical Engineering, Geology, Human Resources, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mining Engineering
- Postgraduate qualifications are not funded

About Samancor Chrome Bursary
Samancor Chrome, one of the world's largest ferrochrome producers, runs an annual undergraduate bursary programme through its Khuphuka Training and Development Centre, supporting South African students in mining- and metallurgy-related fields.
The bursary is aimed at Grade 12 learners with provisional university acceptance and students already in their first, second or third year of undergraduate study; postgraduate qualifications are not covered.
Funding Details
Funds tuition fees and other study costs such as accommodation, prescribed textbooks and meals for the duration of the undergraduate qualification; exact amounts are not publicly disclosed.
