About World Sports Betting Bursary
The World Sports Betting Bursary is run through WSB Cares, the corporate social investment division of World Sports Betting, a licensed South African sports betting operator. It is aimed at recent graduates in ICT-related fields - such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or Application Development - who have completed their degrees but have outstanding tuition fees preventing them from receiving their qualification certificates.
The bursary specifically settles outstanding fees rather than funding a student's studies from the start, and requires a minimum 70% academic average. EE/AA candidates and applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Funding Details
Settlement of outstanding tuition fees only, to allow release of the graduate's qualification certificate. The bursary does not cover accommodation, textbooks, meals, or a living stipend.
