Avemel Group is a South African company providing transport, logistics, fuel supply, equipment rental and vehicle rental services across Southern Africa, operating through divisions including Avemel Transport, Avemel Logistics (established in 2005), the EAN Group and Avemel Truck & Car Rental, from a head office in Durban. Unlike many bursary programmes in this sector, Avemel's terms are explicit about the return-of-service expectation: recipients are required to work at Avemel's operations in Durban after graduation for a period equal to the duration of funding they received, making this one of the more clearly bonded work-back arrangements among South African corporate bursaries.
