Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA)

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is the South African operating unit of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), the largest Coca-Cola bottling partner on the African continent. CCBSA manufactures, distributes, and markets Coca-Cola and other beverage brands across South Africa from a network of manufacturing plants and distribution sites.

Through its Study Buddy Fund, CCBSA runs a bursary and holistic student-support programme focused on communities near its own operations, alongside broader support for university and TVET students who lack other funding. The fund is one of the ways CCBSA channels its corporate social investment into education, alongside programmes like Ligbron, an e-learning initiative that supports maths and science teaching in schools.

CCBSA typically reopens the Study Buddy Fund for applications early in the calendar year. Eligibility leans toward students from the company's host communities, though this is not an absolute requirement.
