Exness is an international multi-asset online trading and fintech company, offering brokerage services in instruments such as forex, commodities, and indices to clients in a large number of countries. It operates under various regulatory licences in different jurisdictions internationally.
As part of its corporate social investment in STEM education, Exness launched the Exness Fintech Scholarship Programme in South Africa in 2023, in partnership with the University of Cape Town (UCT). The programme funds Masters-level study for academically strong students from under-resourced backgrounds in fields related to artificial intelligence, data science and financial technology, and has run for several successive intakes since its launch.
Exness is not itself a South African company; the scholarship is a CSI partnership rather than a locally registered financial services offering, and applicants deal directly with UCT's Postgraduate Funding Office rather than with Exness.
