Fine Music Radio

Fine Music Radio (FMR) is a non-profit community radio station based at the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town, broadcasting classical music and jazz on 101.3FM (and associated frequencies across the greater Cape Town area) since 1995. The station operates largely on donations, with most of its presenters and staff working as volunteers, and aims to give South African performing artists a platform alongside its broadcast schedule.

FMR hosts and broadcasts the annual FMR Bursary Trust Music Awards, a competition funded by the Rolf-Stephan Nussbaum Foundation, which was established to provide scholarships, bursaries, and awards to students studying towards a performance diploma or degree in music.
