The Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) is a Gauteng provincial government initiative that funds bursaries for students studying in scarce-skills fields identified as priorities for the province's development. The programme is administered by the Gauteng Department of Education and supports students at universities and TVET colleges across the province. GCRA aims to build a skilled workforce to support Gauteng's growing economy.
