The group specialises in opencast mining services, coal processing, logistics, and marketing, and operates, manages, and rehabilitates mining projects including the Rietvlei Colliery, with related crushing and screening work at the Khanyisa complex contracted to its Mwelase Mining entity.
The group's operations are closely tied to the Emalahleni (Witbank) coal-mining region of Mpumalanga, and its bursary programme gives preference to students from the Emalahleni and Steve Tshwete local municipalities, alongside historically disadvantaged individuals more broadly.
