NWK Limited is a long-established agricultural business operating mainly in South Africa's North West Province, with more than a century of history in the region's grain and food value chain, including farming inputs, grain handling and storage, retail, and financial and technical services to farmers.
In September 2022, NWK rebranded its agricultural management services division as AgTech@NWK, reflecting a shift toward precision farming, agricultural advisory and consulting, extension services, and agri-tech research and development. AgTech@NWK is based in Lichtenburg, North West Province.
Through AgTech@NWK, NWK funds a small, honours-level student-funding programme aimed at BSc Agriculture Honours students, combining tuition support with practical vacation training and a possible route into employment at NWK after graduation.
