Power Construction

Power Construction is the civil engineering and building division of the Power Group, a privately owned South African construction and property development company founded in 1983 by Graham Power. Power Group is one of the largest unlisted construction companies in Southern Africa, with regional offices in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Centurion and Swakopmund (Namibia).

The company works across roads and civils, building and housing, bulk earthworks, airport infrastructure, engineering management services, and renewable energy construction, including the infrastructure for several South African wind farms. Its stated purpose is "to improve the quality of life in Africa through infrastructure development."

Power Construction runs a localised bursary programme for civil engineering students from a small number of Western Cape towns near its project footprint, alongside a broader, year-round bursary and learnership offering for university and university of technology students advertised through its careers portal.
