Trans Hex Group

Trans Hex Group is a South African diamond mining company with more than 50 years of experience in the exploration, mining and marketing of gem-quality diamonds. It is headquartered in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, and operates marine and land alluvial diamond deposits along South Africa's West Coast near the Orange River mouth, alongside interests in Namibia and Angola.

The group's bursary programme is aimed at students from the West Coast communities near its operations - Doringbaai, Ebenhaeser, Lutzville, Lamberts Bay and Vredendal - reflecting the company's stated focus on developing skills in the towns where it mines, in fields tied to its core business such as geology, metallurgy, mining, marine and nautical sciences, and engineering.
