About Canon Collins Tom Queba Scholarship
The Tom Queba and Pegasys Scholarships for Social Change are administered by the Canon Collins Trust in partnership with the Tom Queba Memorial Fund and Pegasys. They support outstanding South African students pursuing Honours or Master's degrees whose academic work contributes directly to social and environmental development, particularly work that improves the lives and livelihoods of disadvantaged communities.
The scholarship is open to Black and Coloured South African students studying in priority fields including Justice, Education, Humanities and the Arts, and Sciences and Applied Sciences, at South African universities. Alongside financial support, scholars gain access to leadership development, academic networking, and the Trust's wider programme of activities.
Funding Details
R85,000 per year for up to two years, plus access to leadership development opportunities, academic networking, and participation in the Canon Collins Trust's scholar activities.
