It supports South African students studying technology-related fields - including computer science, information systems, IT audit, and cybersecurity - with a particular focus on students from communities currently underrepresented in the IT profession.

Each award cycle, ISACA funds four undergraduate and two postgraduate scholarships of US$1,000 each, paid directly to the recipient to cover registration, tuition, school fees, books, supplies, or essential technology. Recipients also receive an ISACA Career Building Bundle, which includes a year of ISACA student membership and access to career-development resources, and are asked to attend at least one chapter event and check in with the ISACA Foundation twice a year for two years after receiving the award.
