ISACA

ISACA (formerly known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is a global professional association for individuals working in IT governance, audit, risk, cybersecurity, and information systems. ISACA operates through local chapters worldwide, including a South Africa Chapter that runs professional events and forums for IT governance and security professionals in the Johannesburg and Pretoria regions.

The ISACA Foundation, ISACA's philanthropic arm, funds academic scholarships in a number of countries - including South Africa - aimed at building a more diverse pipeline of talent into IT audit, cybersecurity, governance, and related technology fields. The South Africa Chapter Scholarship specifically targets students from communities currently underrepresented in the IT profession, supporting them with funding toward tuition and technology costs alongside ISACA student membership and career-development resources.
