About Sanpc Bursary
The SANPC Bursary is a full-cost bursary scheme run by the South African National Petroleum Company (SANPC), the state-owned company formed from the merger of Central Energy Fund subsidiaries iGas, PetroSA, and the Strategic Fuel Fund, officially launched in May 2025. The scheme is aimed specifically at Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
Rather than being restricted to petroleum, energy, or engineering-related qualifications, the bursary funds tuition and textbooks for students pursuing a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or Honours in any field, at any DHET/CHE-registered tertiary institution, provided the applicant is pursuing that qualification level for the first time.
Funding Details
A full-cost bursary covering tuition fees and textbooks. It does not cover accommodation, transport, or other personal living costs.

Any tertiary institution registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) or accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).
