Grassroots Youth Development

Grassroots Youth Development is the bursary initiative of the Masinyusane Development Organisation, a non-profit founded in 2008 in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) that works across education, literacy and women's employment programmes in the Eastern Cape. The organisation was built specifically to open doors for young people from low-income households in Nelson Mandela Bay and the Sundays River Valley who show academic promise but lack the means to study further, and its bursary programme exists to carry that mission through to tertiary level.
