About Cecil Renaud Overseas Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies in the Uk
The Cecil Renaud Overseas Scholarship, funded by the Cecil Renaud Trust, supports one or two outstanding KwaZulu-Natal students each year for up to two years of postgraduate study - a Master's degree or equivalent, or a PhD - at a university of their choice in the United Kingdom. Since 1994, the Cecil Renaud Trust has awarded 38 scholarships.
Because only one or two scholarships are awarded annually from a national pool of KwaZulu-Natal applicants, this is one of the most competitive opportunities on this site - shortlisted candidates go through a full interview process, so a strong written application alone doesn't guarantee selection; interview preparation matters as much as the paperwork.

Where You Can Study
