About Sanas Bursary

The South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) is the country's single national accreditation body, established to accredit conformity assessment bodies such as testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, and certification bodies. Through its External Bursary Programme, SANAS awards tuition funding to unemployed South African youth studying towards a National Diploma, Degree, Honours, or Postgraduate Diploma in any field at an accredited tertiary institution.

Funding Details

The bursary covers tuition fees only: up to R50,000 for National Diploma or Degree study, and up to R70,000 for Honours or Postgraduate Diploma study. It does not cover accommodation, transport, meals, or other living expenses.
